June Bike Party!
Theme: "Almost Summer"
6:30pm June 6    •    Meet at 16th & Chestnut

Hey Bikers and Walkers, summer is here and YBAW! is going to celebrate with a Bike Party Friday, June 5th. We will meet at 16th and Chestnut in the church parking lot at 6:30 pm. Theme is Almost Summer. Come join us!

On a related note, we are looking to create a Bike Party committee. Thus far, every bike party (with one exception) has been organized by Megan Mendoza and Tyler Chisholm, and they have been doing a great job! However, with summer travel plans and other responsibilities, they are looking to have a few additional Bike Party planners and leaders on hand. Interested? Reply to this email and let us know!

Be on the lookout for additional group rides in the near future. Toole Design Group (the firm working on Yakima's Bike Master Plan) is expecting to be in town the week of June 15-19. We hope to get a ride in with them while they are here. As soon as we get it organized, we will let you know!

First Friday
Come downtown for a Walk-About, Yakima Style.
Stay tuned for details on our next Bike Party.
First Fridays are a great opportunity to come downtown and support local Yakima businesses. Most of the Restaurants, Breweries, Wineries and Bars have live music. Come stroll around downtown and view the local art displays in vacant storefront windows. Our downtown core is a safe and lively place for us all to enjoy. There is plenty of parking within 2 blocks of First and Yakima The more people there are downtown the safer it becomes for all. Do your part!
